Sweetest Day first originated in Cleveland during the Great Depression. Herbert Birch Kingston, a Cleveland candy store employee felt the need to spread some love to the city's orphans, poor, neglected, and the elderly.
So, he set out to spread some joy and sweetness in their lives with a little help from candy boxes. And so began the Sweetest Day celebration on the 3rd Saturday of October.
Over time, Sweetest Day evolved into another holiday to express romantic love. The primary idea is for women to express their love for their husbands or boyfriends with gifts. And as you know that it is difficult to gift a person who has everything, we have put together a list of Sweetest Day gift ideas for him that could prove helpful.
This will not just give him a new look, but also encourage him to give his old t-shirts a well-deserved retirement.
Some even come with a key ring hoop so that he can attach it to his keys and carry it everywhere.
If you have the money, you can buy anything from any store. But the best gift of all has to be the loving moments and precious time you share with one another.
